Wake-Up Call part 2

Last week we were studying Matthew 25 in depth using the Original Hebrew. This week I’m going to share what the Lord showed me while I was in prayer, and then we’ll finish off by taking a look at remainder of Matthew 25.

Last week, we saw the people Jesus is speaking of in Matthew 25 are of the House of God. This is what the Lord showed me: I felt God’s Heart of heaviness and grief. The first thing he showed me was a women from church 20 years ago. She said to another lady, “My focus in life is just on raising my kids, then my grandkids.” That bothered me, but I never knew why. As I was sitting still with my mouth hanging open, the Lord said, “That’s a lost sheep!”

After that I saw my county prison. I had gone in there with another lady to minister any time she invited me. He said, “There are enough people called to the prison in any one city that it should be called The House of Prayer and The House of Second Chances.” Where are the Christians and what are they doing? The Lord showed me He called 10, then 20, after that 30, 40 and up to 50 people. He said, “They won’t show up, so the church has to start ‘yet another program’ to try to help.” I saw what the county prison should be like. I saw a group of Believer’s from all different faiths praying together, then a demon walking away from the prison mad muttering cuss words looking for a prison where Christians aren’t responding. The Lord spoke to me again saying, “They (demons) would be afraid to send someone there for what that group might do!” I went into intercession prayer (Romans 8:26), words that couldn’t be uttered, and crying from my spirit, “Lord, call the sheep! Call the sheep!”

The Lord is calling the sheep!

I saw a Christian family “living for Jesus,” listening to Christian radio, watching Christian tv, going to church, just living life as it comes. As I was looking, the Lord sternly said, “Those are lost sheep!” That was an eye-opener. We’re not called to be Christians for ourselves, “Lord bless me and my own.” We’re not called to just “live for Jesus,” but to be doers of the word (Mark 16:14-19).

The Lord is calling the sheep!

Next, I saw a Christian man with a headset playing video games. The Lord said to me, “He’s called to be a father to the fatherless, instead, he’s using his gift of playfulness for himself. There are enough Christians called in every city that no gang or suicide should be a stronghold.” I personally took a correction about telling grown men playing video games to grow up. This is yet another reminder to me why we shouldn’t judge people.

The Lord is calling the sheep!

Lastly, this one was the hardest for me to see, a Christian woman on the internet cooking and baking trying to make her own way and become popular. The Lord said, “I didn’t call her to do that. She dreams at night about ‘merch’ and a ‘product line.’” I watched this woman making videos mentioning God and scripture, ya know “living for Jesus,” when it’s really herself. Then I saw what she was really supposed to be doing. She was called to make food for the less fortunate in her town; and the Lord wanted her to create videos cooking for the poor, those who lost someone, and the elderly. She was going to have WAY more followers effortlessly, inspire others to do the same in their community, and teach people the loving Heart of God. I saw her warehouse with her own product line that brought money in to fund feeding the less fortunate families. She’s a lost sheep!  We all need a wake-up call!

The Lord is calling the sheep!

Matthew 25 Original Hebrew

31When the Son of Eloah will come in his splendorous image, and all the messengers with him, then he will sit on the throne of his image (meaning splendor or glory) 32And all the peoples will be gathered together before him, and he will separate others from others (separate from one another) just like the shepherd separates the lambs from the kids. 33And he will set the lambs to the right side and the kids to the left side. 34Then the king will say to those who are on the right, ‘Come in, blessed ones of my Father, and possess the kingdom that was prepared for you from the beginning of the world until now. 35I was hungry and you gave me to eat, and I was thirsty and you gave me to drink. I was homeless and you gave me lodging, 36I was naked and stripped, and you clothed me. I was sick, and you visited me, I was imprisoned, and you had compassion on me.’

This is the definition of following your call. Let’s see what the lambs answered.

37Then they will answer, ‘When did we see you in hunger and in thirst, and gave you to eat and to drink? 38When did we see you homeless and brought you in – or stripped, and covered you? 39Or when did we see you sick and imprisoned, and came unto you?’ 40Then the king will answer and say unto them, ‘Truly I say to you, that all the good that you ever did to one of my insignificant brothers, that you did it to me.’

Jesus takes this personally!! The one standing behind your call is Jesus, He’s the Head of the Church and we’re His acting body. We’re working together to accomplish His work. That’s exactly why He’s taking it personally. You’re working as unto Him. You are working as Him. You are working as part of Him.

41And then he will say to those who are on the left side, ‘Separate yourselves from me, ones cursed of my Father, and go into the fire of Gei-Hinnom, which is prepared for Ha-Satan and his messengers. 42I was hungry and thirsty when you did not give me to eat and to drink, 43I was homeless and you did not bring me in, I was naked and you did not cover me, I was sick and imprisoned, but you did not visit me.’ 44Then they will answer and say, ‘And when did we see you hungry and thirsty and homeless, naked or sick or imprisoned, and did not minister to you?’ 45Then he will answer them saying, ‘Truly I say to you that every time that you did not do it to some of the insignificant poor ones who belong to me – also to me you did not do it.’ 46And these will go into the fire of Gei-Hinnom, but the righteous ones will go into everlasting light.”

The ones on the left side don’t even get it. They don’t even understand what He’s saying.

Let’s look at Matthew 7:22-23 Original Hebrew
22In that day many will say, ‘Adon, we were brought in your name and healed the satan-possessed ones, and in your name we did many signs.’ 23Then he will say to them, that he never knew them: ‘Depart from me guilty ones, full of corruption of heart.’

People that are “living for Jesus,” aren’t all going to Heaven. We must make sure that we are not of these people.

I know this is an uncomfortable topic, but we need to be shaken up! Our call will take us to our Promise Land. Refusing your call, or never really even asking, is telling Jesus, “No, I won’t be your body. No, You can’t be the Head, only when it suits me.” Don’t be a lost sheep! Don’t live on the edge of grace. Seek your call and operate in your call. Respond to the wake-up call!

The Lord is calling the sheep!

Matthew 9:37-38 Original Hebrew
37Then he said to his talmidim
(disciples), “The time of the harvest is near, and they are great, but the [harvesters] are few. 38Therefore entreat the Adon of the harvests that he would send harvesters.”

We need to be the harvesters and not pretend like God-this-and-that prayer is the answer to everything.  We need to respond to the call to harvest, encourage others to be harvesters, and pray for more harvesters to respond to their call. The Lord is calling the sheep!

Father, Master, here we are to respond to Your call. Those of us who don’t yet know their call, we join our faith together that they will know their call without any doubts. Those of us who are fearful to step out, please give us boldness, vision, and wisdom to know we’re already more than equipped. Lord, please use us in our circles of influence to call the lost sheep into action. Thank You for this wake-up call. We don’t want to leave this Earth with 0 missions accomplished. We offer ourselves up before you as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable. As we step out, remind us that You’re there to walk with us and provide for us. We love You and want to please You. In Jesus’ name… amen!

Always remember, your prayer notebook is your book of Acts.
