Before we jump into part two, if you haven’t read part one, it’s under the Powerful Prayer Life – Praying for The Lost. Don’t forget to head over there and print out the first prayer sheet.
I recommend not praying part one and part two on the same day but rotating them. It’s easy to get burned out from praying the same thing. As always with prayers, be creative and leave room for the Holy Spirit by listening for ideas bubbling up from inside. Paul says that we don’t know what we should be praying but the Holy Spirit will intercede for us. This is one way He does it, by giving you words to say as you pray. He’s given me these things written below to pray as I was praying through the first salvation paper. The extra spaces are for what the Holy Spirit reveals to you.
Right social media to pop up
There are many great videos out there and God knows just what will speak to them. Ask the angels to direct them to which videos will lead them to that special video, and/or ask the Lord to just have it pop up next. If you’re praying for an older generation, you may want to incuse asking the Lord to lead them to watch a television evangelist.
Spirit of Truth work miracles
John refers to the Holy Spirit as The Spirit of Truth. Ask the Spirit of Truth to move on them and burn up the lies they believe with His Holy Fire. The Holy Spirit can also help them have the ability to discern truth and lies. It’s not just lies about God and the Bible, but in all areas of life. Sometimes people believe lies about themselves; they’re the greatest or they’re the worst person. They may even be deceived by a love interest. Be open to hear The Spirit of Truth for whatever needs prayed that day for truth in addition to truth about creation, God in 3-parts, and the Bible.
John 14:17 the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.
John 15:26 “But when the Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify of Me.
Lose interest in life’s pleasures
Often times people are chasing after life’s pleasures; fame, attention, followers, money, bad relationships, the latest things, the best things, and so on… Losing interesting in the pleasures of life sooner rather than later is a very good thing. People say that when life gets hard you find out who your friends really are, or what’s important in life. While I believe that statement is true, we can ask the Holy Spirit to give them that revelation without going through something difficult.
Use me as a laborer for someone else
We’ve been praying for laborers to come into the path of our loved ones, but we are that someone special for someone else who is praying for a loved one. I think it’s great that we can ask to be found, so we can be an answer to someone else’s prayer. Ask God to give you a boldness and to remind you to share your testimony when you do meet that special person who will listen to you.
Meet their church members
As I was praying for people to know which church they’re called to attend; this amazing prayer came from the Holy Spirit. I began to pray that God will make divine meetings of the people we’re praying for and their future church members. Both prayers together will be powerful, because the church name will already be stirring in their heart and when they meet the church members it will be “a sign” to them. Hehe Don’t forget to pray they meet the pastor too! He’s already called to be their shepherd, so they will be somewhat in tune to what he has to say.
Freedom in Jesus’ name. Addictions broken. Obsessions ended.
People are suffering from silent addictions and obsessions, and others out in daylight and totally ignored. No matter who knows what, many people, even Christians are suffering. Automatically, people think drugs, alcohol, and porn right away, but it’s not limit to what we consider evil. Some women struggle with makeup. They cannot leave the house under any circumstances unless their hair and makeup are done. I have nothing against pretty makeup and hair, but what I am saying is that people should feel free to leave the house to be seen without makeup. That’s being bound by the enemy. People have food and coffee addictions. There are shopping addictions, lottery addictions, social media addictions and more. There are obsessions with being green and saving the planet, obsessed with current social offenses, and obsessed with whatever an influencer tells them to be obsessed with, “I am obsessed with *insert new thing they like.*” Our world has become crazy with addictions and obsessions, and it’s completely normal to us. Truthfully, we probably all need freedom spoken over our lives in Jesus’ name.
Understanding the spiritual realm is real
This is a huge hinderance to a lot of people believing in God. They think life happened by chance and when you die that’s it, you’re gone. Some people need a revelation from God to understand that the spiritual ream is real.
Healing: physical, emotional, spiritual
We all at some point either needed or will need physical healing. Nothing wrong with asking the Lord to heal unsaved people physically, but this is more for emotional and spiritual healing. People often times have been hurt by a church and not only refuse attending church but refuse God as well. I, myself, have had MANY problems from churches, including a pastor telling me, “We know you’re in contact with the devil, and we know he sent you.” I was a teenager. God protected me from offense. Some of you might be wondering why in the world he would say that and what did I do. Well, I boldly corrected his 17-year-old son, when I was 15 years-old, in the middle of his temper tantrum complete with tears. To that pastor, I became a manifestation of Satan. People do crazy and hurtful things. Those that do street evangelism hear some really sad stories on this subject. Past hurts from Christians behaving poorly and situations in church could be preventing them from moving forward in Christ.
Bad mindsets broken
Some people you’re praying for may have bad mindsets that need broken off by the power of God so that they can think and reason clearly. Sometimes unsaved people can be so depressing and not even realize it, “everything is a process or an ordeal.” Don’t ask me what that means, but I heard it a lot! Some people really believe every time they try to fix something, it gets worse. There seems to be a good amount of people who are afraid to be happy, because something bad will happen. I recently heard this is some type of African saying or belief. How many people do we all know who quote Murphy’s Law with conviction? I won’t repeat more depressing mindsets people have, but God knows what needs rooted out, smashed into pieced, and what good thing needs to be planted.
Hinderances removed
The Holy Spirit knows exactly what is stopping each person you’re praying for from receiving the good news of Jesus! We don’t know, but He does! As you’re praying for hinderances to be removed, keep a listening ear opened to the Holy Spirit for specifics.
Big miraculous testimony
This is exciting to me, and I have been praying it over my list of people. I ask God to give them a big miraculous testimony that they love to share! An exciting testimony that draws the listener in and makes them want to give their life to Christ or feel motivated to get other people saved.
